The Taekwondo WT Association of the Kyrgyz Republic was founded in 1993 and became a member of the World Taekwondo Federation.

The taekwondo athlete’s code

  1. Faithfully observe the fundamental principles of Taekwondo WT and the Olympic Charter.
  2. Demonstrate the high spirit of taekwondo; be honest, sincere and fair.
  3. Follow the rules of conduct and etiquette; respect your parents, elders, mentors and teammates, and be polite and courteous to them.
  4. Continuously improve your abilities and develop your body and mind.
  5. Cherish, protect and raise the prestige of the name of a WT taekwondo athlete.
  6. Never use foul language or commit acts that demean anyone’s dignity, and stand against betrayal, cowardice, envy and hypocrisy.
  7. Be diligent, neat, disciplined and devoted to your cause.
  8. Love your homeland and strictly obey the laws of your country.
  9. Never use your knowledge of Taekwondo WT in ways that discredit the high title of a taekwondo athlete.
  10. Attend training regularly, raise your level of sporting skill and strictly follow the rules set by the World Taekwondo Federation and the Taekwondo WT Association of the Kyrgyz Republic.
